Ace FTP is a popular FTP program.It is freeware and can be downloaded (for FREE) on the creators website and at Tucows.com (Look for Network Protocols and click FTP and look for AceFTP).
Download AceFTP 3 Freeware and install it.

Open AceFTP.

Click on File >> Connect.

A "sites profiles" window will open.

Click on File >> Create >> New Site Profile

A "New Site Profile Wizard" window will open.

Fill out your ftp information that we gave you in the mail with hosting account information.
In the field Server: it is enough to type your domain name (www.domain.com).
When done click Next.

In the first box, click on the little yellow folder, on the right and pick the folder that you are going to keep all your site stuff in. Leave the second box empty. Click Finish.

The "sites profile" window will reappear. And inside the right box, underneath the two yellow folders, you will see your sitename and info. Double-click on your sitename, and you will be connected.

Important message: The next time you want to connect to your site, you do not have to go through all that stuff. Just open up AceFTP and click on File, and then next to Connect there will be a little arrow, click on that arrow. Then you will see your site name and click on that and now you are connected.

Uploading and downloading to and from your site.

There are two windows/ panels. On the left side are the files on your computer. An on the right side are the files on your website.

When you want to upload a file to your site, then find it and click on it. Then click on the blue arrow facing the right in between the two panels.

When you want to download a file from your website, then find it and click on it. Then click on the blue arrow facing the left in between the two panels.

If you do not understand anything or want to know what some of the options do, click on Help >> Contents.
